As a beginning, I would like to say, sorry about the lost of your kids. I can imagine, this must be one of the most horrible times in your life. Briefly, I will give you my honest recommendation for gaining the advantage in the war on child separation.

Custody battles are difficult, costly, and time consuming. So to give you the most realistic advice, I would suggest that you get with the mother or the one who has custody and negotiate, negotiate, negotiate. Negotiate for visiting rights.

With visiting privlidges, you can maintain contact with the kids. If you decide to proceed with gaining custody, you will not be effected by loss of contact. Even if this is the only thing you are able to accomplish, in many cases, this is the only lee-way you need.

Once you establish an agreement with their mother, be careful not to piss her off, and loose whatever privledges you have. Just be cool and take your matters to an Attorney and allow him or her the chance to help you regain custody, if at all possible.

Hope this answers your question!

A person that won't TREAT you right, damn sure won't TEACH you right!
